DC Beer Week 2016 solidarity beer. A 5.3% Grisette brewed at 3 Stars. Brewer with unmelted wheat, Pilsen and Vienna malts, red wheat, and oats. Fermented with a Bastogne yeast strain. Hopped with Hersbrucker, Rakau, Galena, Motueka, Calypso, and Citra.
Fermented with the uber-tropical Brett Trois strain, this beer is radically different from your typical IPA or Brett beer. It is a laser beam of pineapple, with a towering Citra/Centennial/Chinook aroma.
Tropic Punch Ale is a joint effort with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. We brewed this sour ale with lactobacillus and let it ferment with plentiful mango, passion fruit and peach. Sweet!
