Brewed in the British tradition of balanced, hearty ales. It’s a deep-copper ale with notes of date and fig. The finish is warm and fruity and begs for the next sip. Aging helps a barleywine develop more complexity. This fine ale will keep for five years beyond the bottling date.
Affligem Blond is a Belgian Pale Ale style beer brewed by Brouwerij De Smedt / Brouwerij Affligem in Opwijk, Belgium. The classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8 alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable.
The Cuvée 950 is like most Affligem very hoppy beers, but with 6.8 degrees is slightly lighter than the ordinary gamma.Na many experiments with herbs was chosen for citronella. The result is both a strong bitterness and a thirst-quenching beer.
