Helles is a German style that dates back to the mid 1800’s. Slightly more malty than your average pilsner, this German Helles hybrid is made with only Weyermann Pilsner malt. Spicy hops come through to balance. The result is bready malt up front and a dry spicy hop finish.
Easy drinking is the name of the game with this one. Not overly intrusive or heavy. Nice citrus, pine and floral aroma from dry hopping with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Chinook. Lil’ Crusher will leave you looking for those warm beach days.
Monkey’s throw a lot of things… So with this beer we decided to take a stronger robust porter, then throw puréed bananas and peanut butter into it. Dark chocolate flavors mingle with banana and light nutty notes. Maybe Elvis would approve if we added bacon?
