Weighing in at 9.3%, Boss Tweed is a double New England IPA with an aroma of peach, mango, tangerine. A nice pilsner malt backbone with a touch of Vienna provides balance and a lingering sweetness on the back end.
This year's Bourbon County Stout, aged in a mix of Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, and Wild Turkey barrels, yields a rich, complex mouthfeel. Flavors of cocoa, fudge, vanilla, caramel, almond, plus leather and tobacco, permeate this beer and deepen with each sip.
This product was originally called 1792 Ridgemont Reserve Bourbon; it was rebranded and repackaged in 2015. Both are no-age statement bottlings, but prior to 2013 it had one of 8 years. This is still a high-rye bourbon and is still bottled at 46.85% ABV.
