This smokey brown ale was brewed to raise awareness for the endangered Little Brown Bat. This species is very important to sustainable agriculture in the Northeastern USA. A portion of the proceeds are donated to conservation groups.

Consecration is a dark Belgian style ale aged in American oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Not only do we use Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, & Pediococcus, we also add currants to beer while it is aging in the barrels.
