Spirit Description
Mezcal Rayu Ensamble is produced by mezcalero Bernardino JarquÃn Pacheco in Miahuatlan de Porfirio DÃaz, Oaxaca using magueyes Madrecuishe, Jabali, and Espadin. The agaves are cooked in an underground oven, milled with mallets, fermented in pine wood vats, and double-distilled in copper pots. This mezcal has flavors of tropical fruits, a touch of caramel, along with herbs, spices, and a hint of violet.
