The primary goal of our estate since its establishment has been the production of wines of the highest possible quality while highlighting the potential of native varieties and the respective terroir. “Good wines are made in the winery but great wines are made in the vineyard”, Yiannis Tselepos used to say, and so we focused on the development of a privately owned vineyard, which today consists of approximately 650 acres, giving immediate priority to the raw material, with the unceasing dedication and care of the vineyard.
Our basic belief is that indigenous varieties have all the guarantees to give complete wines of great complexity. At the same time, we seek to highlight the special expressions of certain international varieties that suit specific vineyards of the estate, which is why we have given special weight to the production of (basically) single-varietal wines.
The immediate goal of the company is the transition to a more “integrated” (“sustainable”) production management, while taking specific measures to reduce the environmental footprint of the estate.
