Wine Description
Bright, complex, surprisingly gutsy and age-worthy, this already appealing dinner wine well represents its varietal. The nose melds scents of red plum, black currant, orange peel, blackberry, clove, cinnamon, peppercorn and cedar into a tightly-wound package. It is sleek and slightly grippy on the palate, where quiet tannins and bright zest give structure to flavors of plum, berry, fig, orange peel, cedar, peppercorn, tea,tobacco, baking spices and a hint of thyme. Perfect for grilled spice-rubbed meats and sauced beef, it will be even more so in another two years. Fruit sourced from the Laetetia and Santa Barbara Highlands vineyards. 1250 cases produced.
