A spice box of cocoa, mint, and cracked pepper mix with yeast, game, and mulberries on the nose while blackberries, currants, and cassis fill the palate.
Mature Cabernet Sauvignon vines struggle in shallow soil in the Holbrook Mitchell Vineyard to produce a wine that is brilliantly crimson in color and boldly aromatic. A spice box of cocoa, mint, and cracked pepper mix with yeast, game, and mulberries on the nose while blackberries, currants, and cassis fill the palate. Sweet oak flavors subtly weave their way through the well-integrated tannins before culminating in a long, beautiful finish that persists with a little grip.
