The Bohan Ranch vineyard, in the Fort Ross-Seaview region of the western Sonoma coast, has been supplying grapes to the Turley winery for years, but this 2017 is the first and only single-vineyard bottling. Aromatically the wine is lighter, more Pinot Noir in style with soft smells of cherries and damp topsoil. On the palate, the wine continues to show a lighter side, with surprising acidity, tart red cherry flavors, and lingering notes of baking spice.Â
