Wine Description

The drink is beautiful with dried strawberry and peach flavors, raspberry acidity and a touch of residual sugar (0.8%) that leaves it lengthy and a bit off-dry.

Many of the Pacific Northwest’s top pinks are made using this prolific, high-acid Italian variety, and Richard Batchelor continues to create one of the best examples. His vineyard source is focusing on Tudor Hills in the Yakima Valley, and the experience begins with a fun light strawberry color and aromas to match, including fresh raspberry, red currant, rose petal and a lick of milk chocolate. The drink is beautiful with dried strawberry and peach flavors, backed by a radiant raspberry acidity on the midpalate and a touch of residual sugar (0.8%) that leaves it lengthy and a bit off-dry.
