Beer Description

Made with a darker foeder beer with additions of a red sour fermented with Maine cherries and Brettanomyces, and aged 7-year oak barrels.

Porte Noir
French for “black door,” this beer shares a name with La Porte Noire, a cavernous Celtic bar in Brussels. This blend started with a yet-to-be named darker foeder beer, then additions of Nancy, a red sour fermented with Maine cherries and Brettanomyces, and some 7-year-old oak barrel-aged beer for complexity.
