In honor of NYC Craft Beer Week 2018, we bring you the Automated Fortune Teller Machine, a 10.4% (Single Malt and Single Hop – S.M.A.S.H.) barley wine using New York State 2-row malt and New York State Chinook hops. The ingredients may be simple, but brewing magic provides this beer with more complexity than meets the eye. Multiple extended boils with varying amounts of wort create a complex malt profile and caramelization characteristics.
