Beer Description
Wine barrel aged sour ale conditioned on blackberries and black raspberries.
This expressive creation is an exploration of fruit refermentation. A base of mature 3 year old sour blond was brought to life via a secondary extraction off of 400 pounds of black raspberries that were already used once in another soul ale, and 400 pounds of fresh blackberries. After a month of refermentation, Spectacle came clearly into focus. Bottle conditioned for 4 months prior to release.
