Beer Description
“Rough Snuff” is a Dark Belgian Strong Ale brewed by 7 different malts, trappistgær (klostergær), and added spices that will delight any old skipper. Both candy and rosinsirup is to give the beer its fullness and strength. And to be able to withstand even the worst gales are added both seaweed and snuff, which both strengthens the blood circulation. A really sweaty action that should be a part of the provisions when standing at sea! Can also be enjoyed as a ceremonial beer after dinner, but beware! It is highly addictive! It is healthy to live fun, but it’s no fun to live healthy! Beer number 2 in a series where Midtfyns Brewery invites homebrewers in to brew a beer. This beer is brewed by Erik Nielsen, organic brew that is Alderman in Svendborg Brew Guild. The beer is a further development of the recipe as Erik was voted “Sydfyns best hand-brewed bock beer”.
