Beer Description
Ryan’s Beer was brewed in collaboration with our dear friend and colleague, Ryan, to help cover some of his expenses as he goes through chemotherapy and recovery. When he proposed beets as his flavoring of choice, we began a brainstorming session that resulted in the combination of beets, orange zest, and step-mashed sour ale base fermented in our oak foeder. Ryan’s Beer pours an indecorous fuschia, with perfumed orange oil aroma bursting out of the glass. Bright citric tartness graces the top/center of the palate, married with a gentle salinity and earthiness. A clean finish begs for another sip.
