Beer Description
One of the original TBBC brews, a cult-classic brewed in the Barleywine style. A strong, robust, hard-hitting, malt forward beer with a refined intensity. Full-bodied, ruby red in color, balanced out by 100 IBU Hop Payload. Biscuity up-front, smoothed out with flavors of raisin and toffee, followed by pine and herbal notes finish off the tasting with a welcomed bitterness, notes of sweet caramel & a hint of booze.
The Moose Killer recipe was born in 1995 and after an evening of “Quality Assurance” testing, it was agreed that this Barleywine could indeed bring down a moose!
