This big brute of a beer blends the British and American Barley Wine traditions. Brewed with Maris Otter and an array of specialty malts offering flavors of rich caramel, toffee, and a hint of roast, then hopped with American Columbus and Cascade hops for a moderate bitterness. 6 months of aging in Black Button barrels imparts a smooth oaky vanilla characteristic with a boozy finish.
