Beer Description

Bocks are a symbol of better times to come. This Doppelbock is filled with rich malt characteristics of toasted bread and sweet caramel due to a variety of specialty malts and traditional Munich malt used as the base malt for the majority of the recipe.

Bocks are a symbol of better times to come, and are traditionally released as winter turns to spring. Doppelbocks were originally brewed by monks in Germany to sustain them as “liquid bread” during the fasting of Lent. As a stronger and richer version of the smaller Bock beer, this style is filled with rich malt characteristics of toasted bread and sweet caramel thanks to a variety of specialty malts and traditional Munich malt used as the base malt for the majority of the recipe.
