Beer Description
Citrango is our hoppy tropical lager brewed using a traditional double decoction mash and hopped with Americana Citra hops. After the boil, it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour and is then transferred over our baudelot cooler. Citrango undergoes a cool fermentation using a German lager yeast. It is cellared for several months and finally dry hopped prior to release.
Citrango Frigus is a special eisbock version where we let the beer freeze. Then take out the extra water, so a more concentrated version remains.
