Beer Description
Saturnalia is our interpretatoin of a Belgian Trappist style Quad. It is brewed using authentic Belgian Pilsner, Pale, Ale, Special B and Cara malts. Traditional step infusion and the Belgian Candi sugar is added into the kettle towards the end of the lautering. 2 hour long boil with the bittering addition (Loral & Styrian Golding) after 1 hour to balance out the massive malt body. Open fermented with the Westmalle yeast strain.
