Beer Description
Barleywine is a classic style that has
changed quite a bit over the years. We
brewed two completely different
interpretations. One leaned towards
American traditions with a lighter body
and more citrus hops (Eytm) and the other
was a more classic, malt-forward English
style (Ology). After some patient aging in
Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels, we blended
the two to create this bold & balanced
beer. This barleywine is full of flavors like
toffee, toasted nuts, Tootsie Rolls, baked
bread, and dark dried fruit.
