Beer Description
All Whiskers Turn Grey blends a single barrel of a batch of Whiskers which earned Gold at the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers in 2015. First impressions are an autumnal array of candied dates, plum, and cinnamon bread – luscious, supple, and rich. Wisps of cherry pie and pomegranate emerge and recede like the tides against a sea of ancient oak and weather beaten time. Aged honeycomb perches atop spiced apple cider acidity. Copper yellow in hue matching that of turning fall foliage leaving us with a profound acknowledgement of the passing of time and the inextricable end of all things. A sweet sort of sadness.
