Beer Description
Newly released from the fine folks at Segal Ranch Hop Farm, D5-055 might be the best new hop variety we’ve seen in a while. With wildly expressive aromas of ruby red grapefruit, pink pomelo, and overripe pineapple, this hop is anything but subtle. We couldn’t help but run it with a clean and lean little West Coast Pale Ale in an attempt to really let the hop itself shine. Crisp, snappy, and focused, this showcase of D5-055 reminds us that sometimes simple is better.
