Beer Description
Notes of caramel, dark chocolate, molasses and French roast coffee beans fade into a balanced baker’s cocoa bitterness. Finishes with a delicate alcohol warmth.
This doppelbock is modeled, in spirit, after the famous Samichlaus lager originally hailing from Switzerland (and now Austria). To further drive home the natural chocolatey notes in this lager, we fully rested the batch on cocoa nibs.
