The Nutty Broon you know and love but with the added twist of barrel aging.
The Nutty Broon you know and love but with the added twist of barrel aging. The brewery was gifted 2 barrels from Valley Beverage so that we might start with some barrel aging experiments. This is a smaller beer so it only saw the barrel for 3 weeks prior to racking into a few kegs and casks. Even 3 weeks pushed things pretty far, with a very strong bourbon presence, and a small hit of wood tannin.
