Roberto's has gained the following they have for two reasons.
First, they have a tight—but outstanding—taplist. They've got the best of CT, of course, but then they've also got the best of everywhere else.
Second, they're religious about updating their BeerMenus page. Doing that sends out email and phone notifications, and at a higher level, it means their customers will know they can rely on their beer list being accurate. So if they see a 2018 Founders KBS on tap (which is currently the case), they know it's no fooling: it's really there.
9. Champp's Americana

Once again Champp's Americana made this list, and once again I'm thrilled.
Why? Most of my wife's family lives in Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee, so when Champp's succeeds, it feels a little bit like my mother- and father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and Godson are succeeding.
But we don't need to unpack that emotional connection and the implications. Let's just cheers to Champp's for doing things right once again. See you for one of the Packers playoff games!
8. Murphy's Craft Bar + Kitchen
Sidney, OH
Murphy's is one of only 4 new faces in the top 10. More impressive than just making an appearance: they only created their BeerMenus page at the end of March, 2019. So, though handicapped by almost a full 3 months, they still managed to crack the top 10 list.
But it's not too surprising: 48 high quality taps is always going to draw some eyeballs.
7. Ambulance Brew House
Nanuet, NY
North of New York City by about 25 miles, Ambulance Brew House features 20 outstanding drafts and some super fancy bottles and cans. We're talking the kind of stuff that could make a gal or guy from Brooklyn call a Saturday audible and hop a train north.
It would be no surprise to see beers from Hill Farmstead, Jolly Pumpkin, Other Half—basically all the top-echelon breweries available in New York State—show up at Ambulance. Get there.
6. Tommy's Tavern + Tap Sea Bright
Sea Bright, NJ
Another new face on the list, Tommy's Tavern + Tap Sea Bright is one of three Tommy's locations that have BeerMenus pages.
I can't say exactly why the Sea Bright location beat out the Staten Island and Freehold locations. But we're pumped to see them drawing so many eyeballs from New Yorkers and New Jerseyites both!
5. Off Color Brewing Mousetrap
Chicago, IL
This Mousetrap's a BeerMenus team favorite. The proof? They made our designer, Nicki's, entry for favorite beer of 2019.
Squoke was the name of her favorite. I haven't had that particular pleasure, but if I've got a chance to grab some Dino S'mores, Staveyard or, if I'm lucky, Eeek!, I'm happy as a clam.
And we all know how happy Chicago Clams are.
4. Baffin Brewing
St. Clair Shores, MI
Of the places on this Most Popular list, Baffin's got the shortest beer list. But you know what? They're on the damn ball: if they kick a keg and a beer changes, they update their BeerMenus page. Always.
That's the kind of dedication that gets fans and customers to rely on the accuracy of a BeerMenus place page. And instilling that reliance translates into more and more pageviews.
3. Finback Brewery
Queens, NY
We're once again pumped to see our pals/neighbors Finback crack the top 10 on this list. We've known the owners/brewers Basil and Kevin for years, and love seeing them continue their methodical ass-kicking of the NYC beer world.
2. Hoof Hearted Brewing
Marengo, OH
These folks don't really need much introduction. But I will use this space to say we stand by their choices of beer names, artwork, and general "deal."
So please keep it up; it's edifying to know that there's a bananas brewery near our nation's beating heart.
The feeling I get about this is similar to the relief I feel when I remember that Jason Mantzoukas is a successful working actor.
1. Hudson Valley Brewing

For the second year in a row, Hudson Valley Brewing tops the list, and this year they led the field by an even higher margin.
Take that as even more proof that in the bucolic Hudson Valley north of NYC lies one of the best breweries in the entire world. From fantastic sours to awesome hazy beers, to other adventurous styles, owner JohnAnthony Gargiulo has been churning out beers of the highest quality ever since the brewery opened a few years back.
Little surprise, then, that folks love seeing what's available on BeerMenus!
