Originally brewed at the pub in 1993, as “Laughing Dog” the recipe was re-worked and re-introduced in 2004 and has been a standard ever since, a deep golden, refreshingly hopped pale ale.
Amber in color, this light-bodied ale is brewed using five different malts. However, India Pale Ale’s flavor emphasis is on hops, which are added in four different stages. These hops provide noticeable bitterness, herbal/floral flavors and a dry finish.
