About the brewery

Notch was launched by Chris Lohring, a professional brewer since 1993, most notably at the Tremont Brewery in Boston MA. Today, Chris is an independent brewer – Notch owns no facility – instead brewing with other breweries. The love of session beer, or beers with flavor and low ABV, have been with Chris for decades. Why? Session beer has a unique ability to extend the good times. Or, have one beer without needing a nap.
