Barrier Brewing Co. is located in Oceanside, NY. Brewing their first batches on a 1bbl system (2 kegs at a time!) in 2010, then expanding the business to a 5bbl brewhouse in 2012, they operated for four short months before being severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy. After several months of rebuilding, Barrier reopened in early 2013. The brewery currently produces nearly 50 different beers throughout the year totaling 10,000bbl annually, and is now producing on a 20 barrel brewhouse. They are distributed in in 10 states, and you may find their beer in such unique places as Thailand or a pub in London.
